1. What This Document Covers
This page lays out the terms that apply when you buy a novelty card from Irish Fake ID (irishfakeid.com), run by CardFairy (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order you’re confirming that you’ve read these terms and you’re happy with them. Every product on this site is a novelty — not for official use, not for anything dodgy. If you’re unsure whether our products are legal where you live, get proper legal advice before ordering.
2. Who We Are
Irish Fake ID is a trading name of CardFairy. We handle every order ourselves — design, print, pack, post. Our contact details appear on every order confirmation we send out.
3. Order Screening
We keep an eye on every order that comes through. If something looks off — if we think a card is being ordered for a purpose that isn’t novelty — we’ll:
Pull the order immediately. No refund.
Pass your details (name, address, photo, IP) to An Garda Síochána or whatever authority is relevant.
We don’t mess about with this. If it looks wrong, we act.
4. Your Personal Data
We hold on to order data (name, address, photo) for 60 days after your order is completed — long enough to deal with any queries or returns. Anything that arrives on paper gets scanned and shredded within a working week. Once those 60 days are up, everything is wiped. We follow GDPR to the letter. The full picture is in our Privacy Policy.
5. Our Liability
We sell novelty cards. What you do with them after they land on your doormat is on you. We’re not liable for any loss, damage, legal hassle, or consequences — direct or otherwise — that come from using or misusing our products. Ordering from us means you accept that.
6. Agreeing to These Terms
You tick the box at checkout, you’re bound by everything on this page. Simple as.
7. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If there’s ever a dispute, it lands in the Irish courts and nowhere else. You agree to that by ordering.
8. What These Cards Are (and Aren’t)
Let’s be crystal clear about this. Our cards are novelty items — nothing more. Specifically:
They don’t grant you any official status, rights, or entitlements.
They won’t get you on a plane, past a bouncer, through airport security, or into an over-18s venue. Don’t try.
They do not meet the definition of an identity document under the Criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud Offences) Act 2001 or any other Irish statute, because they are entirely fictional creations.
Using a novelty card to lie about who you are or how old you are is a criminal offence. Fines, a record, possibly worse — it depends on your jurisdiction.
9. Don’t Tamper with the Cards
You may not alter, cover up, scrape off, or otherwise interfere with any part of a novelty card — especially the disclaimer that says it isn’t an official document. Doing so could land you in legal trouble and voids any relationship you have with us.
10. Everything on the Card Is Made Up
Every organisation, logo, crest, and issuing body shown on our cards is completely invented. We drew them from scratch. They aren’t meant to look like, stand in for, or be confused with any real institution or document.
11. We Can Say No
We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason. If we refuse yours, we may or may not refund you — that’s at our discretion. We don’t have to explain the decision.
12. Lost or Damaged Cards
Once a card has left our hands, we’re not responsible if it goes missing, gets nicked, or ends up in the washing machine. We’re under no obligation to send another one. If you ask nicely and it’s straightforward, we might reprint for a small charge — but that’s a favour, not a right. We can’t go back and edit cardholder details after production.
13. Intellectual Property
Every design, layout, illustration, and piece of content on this site belongs to Irish Fake ID © 1996–2026. Don’t copy it, screenshot it, trace it, or reuse it without written permission. All rights reserved.
14. Know Your Local Laws
It’s your job to check whether novelty cards are legal where you live. Laws vary by country, state, and territory. We can’t advise you on that — and we’re not liable if you get it wrong.
15. Give Us Correct Details
The information you put into the order form has to be accurate. Submitting fake personal details is potentially a criminal offence in itself. We will report dodgy submissions to the authorities if we think there’s cause. And, once more for the cheap seats: using our cards to pretend to be someone else is illegal.
16. Getting in Touch
Questions about these terms? Use the Contact page. We typically respond within a couple of working days. Loads of common queries are already covered in the FAQ.
17. Got a Problem?
If something’s not right with your order or you think we’ve dropped the ball, let us know. We’d rather hear about it than not.
18. Changes to These Terms
We update this page when things change — new rules, new practices, whatever. The latest version is always here. Worth checking back now and then.
